• Working with millinery felt
• What hat suits what face
• Blocking the crowns and brims over wooden blocks, stiffening, wiring, working with steam, hand moulding the felt, etc
• Specialist brim edge methods
• Trimming with Petersham (cockades, bows, etc)
• Couture finishing
• Vintage hat lining
