Millinery Form Studio-Booking & Studio Policy

1. Bookings & Payment

  • All studio sessions must be booked in advance.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
  • Bookings are non-transferable without prior agreement.

2. Studio Hours

  • Standard Day Access runs from 12:00 – 17:00.
  • Access outside these hours must be arranged in advance and may incur an additional fee.
  • Participants are expected to vacate the studio promptly at the end of their session.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the booking date may be rescheduled once.
  • Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.
  • In exceptional circumstances, rescheduling may be offered at the studio’s discretion.

4. Use of Blocks & Equipment

  • All blocks remain the property of the studio at all times.
  • Blocks must not be altered, sanded, pinned into excessively, cut, drilled, glued, or modified in any way.
  • Appropriate blocking methods must be used to prevent surface damage.
  • Studio equipment must be handled with care and used only for its intended purpose.

5. Damage Policy

  • Participants are responsible for any damage caused to blocks, equipment, or studio property during their session.
  • Any damage must be reported immediately.
  • Repair or replacement costs will be charged where damage results from negligence or misuse.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Designs created during studio sessions remain the intellectual property of the maker.
  • The studio retains ownership of all block shapes, proprietary forms, and any original studio-developed block designs.
  • Replication, casting, copying, scanning, or reproducing studio blocks (in whole or in part) is not permitted without written consent.
  • Photography of blocks for commercial reproduction purposes is not permitted without written consent.

7. Safety & Conduct

  • The studio is a professional working environment.
  • Participants must maintain a respectful, focused atmosphere.
  • The studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate access if conduct is unsafe or inappropriate.

8. Storage

  • Materials and works-in-progress may only be stored with prior agreement.
  • The studio accepts no responsibility for personal materials left on site.
